Strategy Manager at Capital Express Assurance Limited

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as a Research and Strategy Manager at Capital Express Assurance Limited located in Lagos.
• The Research and Strategy Manager will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as conducting market research, analyzing and interpreting data, developing strategic plans, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• The manager will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of strategies.

Other Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of long-term organizational strategy.
• Conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.
• Assessing market trends and competitors.
• Identifying threats and opportunities.
• Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions.
• Planning, implementing and managing proposed recommendations and projects.
• Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.
• Plan staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or service.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills, Finance, and Management Consulting
• Excellent communication and consulting skills
• Experience in conducting market research and data analysis
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are beneficial
• Minimum of 8 years experience in business administration, management consulting or strategic planning.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry will be an added advantage.
