    Storekeeper

    Description

    • We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Store Keeper with an accounting background to manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and support basic financial documentation.
    • The ideal candidate will ensure proper storage of materials, maintain stock accuracy, and work closely with the accounts and logistics teams to monitor stock movement and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, stock movement, and inventory balances.
    • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of goods in the store.
    • Issue materials to authorized staff and record all transactions appropriately.
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
    • Prepare stock reports and submit them to management and the accounts department.
    • Assist with documentation related to procurement, invoices, and delivery notes.
    • Monitor minimum stock levels and notify management when replenishment is required.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding inventory control and asset management.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 1 – 3 years experience in store keeping, inventory management, or a related role.
    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and record keeping.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory systems.
    • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
    • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
