Storekeeper- Construction at Elalan Construction

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Organize and maintain inventory levels in the construction site stores, keeping track of stock movements and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Implement proper storage techniques to ensure the safety and integrity of materials, including appropriate handling of hazardous substances.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
• Coordinate with procurement and project management teams to forecast material needs and plan deliveries accordingly.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to material receipts, issues, and returns, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Utilize computerized inventory management systems to record transactions and generate reports as required.
• Assist in the development and implementation of store procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requests and support project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the construction site stores, adhering to safety standards and regulations.

What You Need

• ND, HND, or BSc in something related to business or management.
• 4 -5 years experience as a Store Keeper/ Store Assistant on a Construction Site
• Good at organizing stuff and paying attention to details.
• Know your way around computers and programs like Google Sheets.
• Friendly and can talk to people nicely.
• You should be able to work by yourself but also be a great team player.
