Job Summary

• We are seeking a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s store.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of company supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• The Storekeeper will ensure that stock levels are properly monitored, items are safely stored, and all inventory transactions are accurately documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods, supplies, equipment, and other items delivered to the company.
• Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Properly arrange and store items to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock received and issued.
• Issue items to authorised employees and departments based on approved requests.
• Monitor stock levels and notify Management when items require replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records.
• Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or expired items.
• Ensure the store is clean, secure, and properly organised at all times.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.
• Prepare regular inventory reports for Management.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of company assets and supplies.
• Monitor the condition of stored items and ensure proper stock rotation where applicable.
• Support procurement activities by providing accurate information on stock levels and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of inventory management procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
