    Store Officer

    Summary of Responsibilities

    The Store Officer must be an organized and detail-oriented individual who will manage all of the operations in the store. He/She will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of the stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
    • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
    • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
    • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
    • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
    • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
    • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
    • Check supplies against invoice and purchase orders

    • Undertake Periodic stock taking

    • Any other function as may be assigned by the Account Head

    Minimum Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

    • First bachelor’s degree/HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or any Social sciences.
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant post-graduation experience.

    Technical

    • Proven experience as a Store Officer
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Preparing work schedules, recording and reporting
    • Problem Solving/Analysis
    • Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.

    Non-Technical

    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
    • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills

    Job Type: Permanent

    Salary: ₦80,000.00 - ₦100,000.00 per month

    Please note that considerations will be given to only candidates currently residing in Kaduna and environs for proximity.
