Job Description

• The Store Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of IT products.
• This role is critical to maintaining the high standards our clients expect and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring all items are correctly logged and stored.
• Receiving and Dispatching: Oversee the receiving of goods, ensuring all deliveries are checked against orders and discrepancies are reported. Coordinate the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate shipment.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Implement and adhere to warehousing standards and procedures.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure product quality and integrity.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter inventory data into the warehouse management system and generate reports as needed.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations and assist in training new staff.
• Customer Service: Address client inquiries regarding inventory and shipments, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Qualification OND
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience asa Store Officer in a warehouse or logistics organization, preferably within the IT sector.

Skills:

• Proficiency in the use ofMicrosoft Office Suite.
• Payingattention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
