    Store Keeper

    Job Summary

    • The Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of all inventory items within the branch.
    • The role ensures that stock levels are properly monitored, losses are minimized, and all materials required for daily operations are available when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and supplies.
    • Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
    • Issue materials and supplies to authorized personnel.
    • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when necessary.
    • Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
    • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
    • Track stock movement and report discrepancies promptly.
    • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within the store.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
    • Prevent wastage, theft, and misuse of company property.
    • Collaborate with management during stock verification exercises.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Inventory accuracy.
    • Stock loss reduction.
    • Timely stock replenishment.
    • Proper documentation and reporting.
    • Compliance with inventory control procedures.
    • Store cleanliness and organization.

    Requirements
    Required Skills:

    • Inventory management skills.
    • Record-keeping and documentation skills.
    • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel and Word).
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Numerical and analytical skills.
    • Integrity and accountability.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Ability to work under minimal supervision.

    Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory management, storekeeping, warehousing, or a related role.
    • Experience within the hospitality, retail, restaurant, or FMCG industry is an added advantage.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must possess a high level of honesty and integrity.
    • Must be physically fit and capable of handling inventory-related tasks.
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of company records.
    • Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.
    • Must be resident within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned branch.
    • Must be willing to comply with all company policies and procedures.
