    Store Audit Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for an experienced Store Audit Manager to oversee the planning and execution of operational, financial, inventory, and compliance audits across our stores. The role will identify control weaknesses, investigate discrepancies, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive store audit plans covering financial, operational, inventory, and compliance areas.
    • Conduct regular and surprise audits across stores to assess controls, procedures, and operational efficiency.
    • Review sales transactions, cash handling, inventory records, pricing, discounts, promotions, and returns/exchanges.
    • Conduct physical inventory verification and investigate stock variances and discrepancies.
    • Identify and investigate risks relating to theft, fraud, inventory shrinkage, and operational lapses.
    • Assess compliance with company policies, inventory movement procedures, and reconciliation processes.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, root causes, and recommended corrective actions.
    • Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
    • Work closely with Store Managers, Operations, and Security teams to strengthen internal controls and loss-prevention measures.
    • Review store documentation and records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
    • Identify opportunities to improve store processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
    • Provide guidance and training to store staff on audit requirements, controls, and best practices.
    • Support the review and improvement of store policies and operating procedures.
    • Participate in incident reporting, investigations, emergency drills, and other company IMS activities as required.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5–7 years' relevant experience in retail audit, internal audit, store audit, loss prevention, or a similar role.
    • Proven experience in inventory verification, stock reconciliation, fraud detection, and internal controls.
    • Strong knowledge of audit principles, retail operations, and risk management.
