Stockbroking Operations Analyst at Cordros Capital

Job Purpose

• Cordros Capital Limited needs the services of a Stockbroking Operations analyst who is conversant with Equities settlement, Trade reconciliations and other responsibilities as outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for posting and processing all clients' inflows, payments, and transfers.
• Responsible for booking of clients' investments/liquidations/maturities.
• Posting operational bank entries weekly.
• Carry out daily bank reconciliation on all the accounts to be submitted bi-monthly.
• Daily equities settlement & trade reconciliation.
• Daily review of client balances to prevent overdrawn balances and execution of all mandates.
• Sending of cash statements & portfolio valuation to clients on monthly & weekly basis

Job Requirements
Education

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or any other related discipline.
• A Second Degree and/or Completion of Relevant Professional Certification like ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum of two to four years' work experience in a stockbroking firm or group.

Key Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:

• The use of Microsoft Excel
• The use of Accounting Software (e.g., Symplus, etc.)

The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
