Stock Officer at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

Homeport Ltd is a building material trading company arm of Sunbeth's businesses. The business unit engages in the bulk trading & manufacturing of roofing materials including Aluzinc, Galvanized, Aluminum, & Stone Coated Roofing Sheets. The stock officer is responsible for preparing purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing goods, managing stock levels, and distributing supplies. They ensure that optimum inventory levels are maintained and meet quality standards.

Job Details

• Maintains and manages inventory in the warehouse
• Supervise products receipts and ensure proper accounting of shortages and overages.
•  Confirms daily physical stock to ledger balances.
•  Carries out monthly stock count and reconciliation of stocks balances to stock movement during the month.
•  Prepares and circulate daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
•  Monitors and ensures proper lodgments and entries of Customer payments.

Requirements

Edcational Qualification:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited university.

Experience:

• 2-4 years professional experience
• Functional / Technical Competencies
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good understanding of accounting manual
• Knowledge of Accounting standards  
• Knowledge of Account consolidation
• Reconciliation
