Job Summary

• The aim for a position and function is to improve value in all areas of the business by managing and improving the Group’s liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities by buying and selling shares on behalf of the company and selected clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and trade on company’s account
• Provide research report and stock recommendations
• Capital market Issues - listing, delisting, placing of company shares on floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange
• Accurately evaluating financial reports.
• Managing company’s investment portfolios
• Staying abreast with the latest financial news.
• Providing regular updates to company regarding the status of their investment portfolios
• Providing accurate investment advice.
• Ensure maximum profitability while trading the stocks with minimal errors.

Requirements

• A minimum of B.Sc. in Accounting or other relevant Degree
• Professional qualifications (Associate Chartered Stockbroker) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field
• Good Knowledge of Capital Market and experience in Stockbroking Operations
• Knowledge of Fixed Income and SEC Sponsored Individual will be an added advantage
• Enthusiasm and commitment are essential to complete activities.
• A flexible approach to meet changing needs and deadlines
• Self-motivated, excellent attention to details and enjoys working in a team
• Analytical and Logical in Reasoning, Mathematical and Communication skills
