Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Standby Technician to provide technical support, monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot faults, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and equipment failures.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before breakdown occurs.
• Carry out repairs, replacements, and adjustments as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and available for use.
• Follow all company safety procedures and technical standards.
• Work closely with other technical and operations teams to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–3 years of relevant technical/maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, or extra hours when required.
