Special Educational Needs & Disability Coordinator (SENDCo) at RA International School (RAIS)

We are seeking a SENDCo who:

• is a mother tongue level English speaker
• holds a B.Ed. or BA/BSc and PGCE in Primary Teaching or Special Education with Qualified Teacher Status
• has extensive experience of teaching primary age children with a range of needs - including severe learning difficulties
• can coordinate, implement and lead high quality interventions for SEND children
• is able to strategically develop our SEND policy and practice
• is able to lead and develop the SEND team and the wider staff
• knows how to form strong relationships with other support specialists and with parents/carers
• is child-centred and passionate about learning
• possesses a positive team-spirit, creativity, resilience and a good sense of humour
