    Spare Part Sales

    Job Description

    • Our client is in need of a truck spare parts salesman who will be responsible for selling replacement parts for trucks to customers, including fleet managers, mechanics, and trucking companies.

    ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

    • Meet with customers to identify their spare parts needs and recommend appropriate products
    • Maintain knowledge of current products, pricing, and availability
    • Prepare and present sales proposals to potential customers
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities
    • Collaborate with other sales team members and support staff to achieve sales goals
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
    • Costing of parts and invoicesQualifications:
    • Experience in the trucking industry and knowledge of truck spare parts
    • Strong sales and customer service skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Familiarity with inventory management systems
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to do costings of parts and invoices
    • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to customer's location as needed.
    • A diploma or degree in sales, marketing or business administration is an added advantage
