Sourcing Data Analyst at UltraHire

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sourcing Data Analyst on behalf of our client to manage and analyze sourcing data to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires meticulous record-keeping, data validation, and collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless raw material sourcing, logistics coordination, and sustainability compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily purchase records for sourced palm kernel nuts and other raw materials (e.g., Palm Kernel Shells) using Google Sheets.
• Ensure all purchase and logistics records are accurately recorded and consistently updated on SALT.
• Collaborate with the Software Engineering Team to ensure accurate and up-to-date data on the company's geospatial platform (SITE).
• Track and compile sourcing schedules and logistics data to optimize raw material pickups.
• Monitor and report on field agents’ activities, ensuring proper documentation of sourcing operations.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all sourcing-related records and systems.
• Work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to align sourcing and logistics operations with company strategies.
• Generate data-driven reports and insights to support internal teams in strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s sustainability goals and sourcing Rules of Engagement.
• Effectively communicate the company’s new programs and initiatives to farmers, ensuring engagement and participation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in data analysis, supply chain operations, or sourcing-related roles.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with data management platforms (e.g., SALT, geospatial tools) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with farmers and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in sourcing is an advantage.
