Sonographer/Radiographer at Cedarcrest Hospitals

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (MRI, CT, X-RAY etc.)
• Analyze and interpret sonographic data to provide accurate results for diagnosis and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and ensure their comfort during examinations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Certification licensing body.
• Proficiency in multiple areas of sonography/radiography (e.g., vascular, OB/GYN, abdominal).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with precision.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced imaging techniques and specialized ultrasound applications.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
