    Sonographer

    Location: Orogun, Ibadan

    Job Summary:

    Oyomesi Specialist Hospital is currently hiring a Licensed and Experienced Sonographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting in accurate diagnosis, and maintaining a high standard of patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular, pelvic, etc.) in accordance with physician instructions.
    • Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively to capture accurate images.
    • Analyze sonographic findings and collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosis.
    • Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations, ensuring comfort and privacy.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of procedures and findings.
    • Ensure proper care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
    • Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.

    Requirements:

    • Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
    • Must possess a valid license to practice as a Sonographer.
    • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
    • Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent diagnostic and technical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
