Solution Architecture Engineer at Arnergy Solar Limited

You’ll focus on:

• Designing of solar power and storage systems for optimal performance.
• Preparing technical proposals using the appropriate tools to determine the best configuration, material and technologies for optimal performance.
• Supporting the development of commercial proposals by providing material and quantity related information to the commercial and finance teams for price modeling.
• Ensuring that proposals generally contain appropriate and accurate information/data and visual representation that effectively communicate the organization's value proposition to prospects.
• Developing electrical Single-Line-Diagrams and 3D visualization to aid initial system architecture and project cost budgeting.
• Performing site assessment to capture customer load profile, energy needs, location preferences, potential threats and available infrastructure required for an optimal design.
• Developing and managing a database of site assessments and proposals as a corporate asset for decision making.
• Support supply chain with technical procurement.
• Contributing to project implementation plans and occasional support during project execution.
• Performing savings and cost-benefit analysis from available data and designing metrics to determine energy and cost savings.
• Ensuring customer experience and customer satisfaction through effective requirement capture and presentation.
• Working with operations to define and support the requirements for successful project commissioning and acceptance.
• Supporting the sales team with technical pre-sales activities.
• Supporting the commercial team with response to technical questions on RFPs

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

You’ll be a good fit for this role if you have:

• First degree in Electrical/Mechanical or related Engineering course from a recognized University.
• Certification in solar project development by a reputable organization
• Three (3) to Five (5) years work experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Proficiency with Spreadsheets (Microsoft or Google Suite)
• Certification in PMP or Prince 2 is an advantage
• Proficiency with PV sizing software is an advantage
