Solar Technician at Jubaili Bros Nigeria

JOB OVERVIEW

• To collect and analyse customer requirements, conduct and report site inspections, and ensure standard functionality on company products and services at delivery and beyond.
• To succeed in this position the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of the Jubaili Bros Engineering, its products and Services.
• The candidate must possess transferrable technician experience in renewable energy, engineering and Power generating sectors

Responsibilities

• Conducts site visits and inspections, collects relevant data, and reports to Head of department as needed.
• Oversees the maintenance and installation of complex parts, utilization of delicate equipment, and preparation of infrastructure with potential effect on company products and/ or assets
• Conducts technical studies and market studies for new products and solutions, and provides assistance during testing phases; submits related reports.
• Attend meetings as needed with customers to understand their needs and to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose existing or potential maintenance issues.
• Follow up on warranty cases with branches and suppliers to ensure effective and timely resolution
• Follows up with related documents, collects customer requirements, and prepares technical and commercial offers to match customer needs
• Follow up on quality team to ensure delivered quality is up to the company standards and meets the customer expectations
• Perform daily routine maintenance work assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor (MS) Or Senior team leader but not limited to , by checking the gensets on site, changing filters, oil and water, maintaining the cleanliness of the work area, and completing site maintenance reports of the work done with generator status, to avoid preventable breakdowns from occurring. This will be applied by using service manual provided by the company to the teams
• Deliver invoices to the customers, as per direction from the MS or STL, by submitting the invoice by hand, and collecting the payment, to ensure no open dues are left on the customer's account.
• Preserve and clean the delivered equipment and maintenance cars in custody and directly report their loss or damage by completing the necessary forms to ensure no error occurs.
• Listen to customers' inquiries, taking into consideration their needs, suggestions or complaints they may have, and transferring these notes to the MS or STL for best response and processing.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in the renewable energy, engineering and Power generating industry
• Good understanding of the Market in Nigeria.
• Analytical, but also ambitious, self-motivated, results-oriented and eager to contribute.
• Ability to effectively work with customers from different backgrounds.
