Solar Power Operations Specialist at 3KM Energy Systems

Overview:

• The Solar Power Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the optimal functionality of solar power systems, including inverters, solar panels, batteries, associated cabling, and generators. This role also involves providing support for resolving grid-related issues. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems, including inverters, solar panels, batteries, associated cabling, and generators. 
• Diagnose and resolve faults and issues with solar power systems to ensure reliable operation. 
• Monitor system performance and identify potential problems. 
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. 
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new solar power systems. 
• Provide support to resolve grid-related issues, liaising with utility companies as required. 
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of solar power systems. 
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, DC and AC circuits, and solar PV components. 
• Proficient in the use of multimeters, power analysers, and other diagnostic tools. 
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to solar power systems. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
