Role Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Solar Engineer to design, implement, and manage solar and hybrid energy systems for commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in solar PV systems, battery storage, and system installation, with the ability to deliver efficient and reliable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, load assessments, and energy audits.
• Design grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems.
• Size system components including PV arrays, inverters, and battery storage.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Perform ROI and payback analysis for energy solutions.
• Supervise installations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and commission systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and optimise system performance.
• Engage clients, present solutions, and provide after-sales technical support.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and renewable energy best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (renewable energy specialisation is an advantage).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in solar system design and installation.
• Proven experience with commercial or industrial solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, hybrid inverters, battery storage, and load analysis.
• Experience with system installation, troubleshooting, and energy optimisation.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
