• We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and execute test plans, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement in software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Automate test cases using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
