Salary: ₦250,000 monthly

Job Description:

Our client seeks a skilled Site Surveyor to support dredging operations. This role involves collecting and analyzing seabed and shoreline data, setting up survey activities, and ensuring environmental compliance. Key responsibilities include calculating dredging volumes for invoicing, preparing reports to optimize dredge productivity, and communicating detailed site statistics to management.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze seabed, shoreline, and environmental data, including water depth, currents, and sediment types.
• Set up survey activities on-site and determine suitable sounding methods.
• Oversee burrow-pit operations and ensure dredging meets performance and environmental standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to aid in productivity.
• Communicate with management and provide accurate, visually supported statistics as needed.

Requirements:

• BSc in Surveying, Hydrography, or Topography.
• 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD, GPS, GIS systems, and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of dredging operations, including sand measurement, and a clear understanding of environmental issues.
