    Site Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
    • Review architectural drawings, technical specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance and feasibility.
    • Coordinate project activities, including material procurement, equipment deployment, and labor allocation.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
    • Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any construction issues or deviations from plans.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Address and resolve any on-site challenges or conflicts that may arise during construction.
    • Implement quality control procedures to ensure construction meets the required standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
    • Identify and address any potential risks or hazards related to the construction process.
    • Monitor project expenses and track costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and change orders.
    • Prepare regular reports on project status, including milestones achieved, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
    • Keep detailed records of construction activities, inspections, and site incidents.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
    • Proven experience working as a Building Site Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
    • Proficient in using relevant construction tools.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
