Site Engineer at Landgate Investments Limited

Job description

• Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
• Analyse and interpret engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical & geologic data and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
