JOB DESCRIPTION 

Design and Planning

• Develop and review project plans, specifications, and estimates
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Project Management

• Oversee project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Site Operations

• Supervise and inspect construction works, including earthworks, concrete pouring, and structural erections
• Ensure site safety, quality control, and environmental compliance
• Manage and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials

Quality Control and Assurance

• Assist in developing and ensuring implementation of quality control plans and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
• Identify and address defects or non-compliant work

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare and submit project reports, progress updates, and technical documents
• Maintain accurate records, including design calculations, test results, and as-built drawings

Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of Technicians, laborers and contractors
• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project delivery

Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate with clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders
• Ensure effective collaboration and coordination to meet project objectives

Health, Safety, and Environment

• Assist to develop and implement HSE plans and procedures
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in (Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture or Quantity Surveying)

Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in Building construction.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Asana)
• Understanding of construction methods and materials.
