Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for our client to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, and maintain high-quality standards. 
• The successful candidate will collaborate with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and workers to execute tasks efficiently and resolve technical issues on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and workers to execute tasks efficiently and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction processes to maintain high-quality standards.
• Perform site measurements, leveling, and setting out to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Implement and monitor health and safety protocols in line with Nigerian regulations (e.g., HSE standards, Nigeria Labour Law)
• Verify the quality and quantity of materials delivered to the site and ensure proper storage and usage.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, daily work logs, and progress updates for project records
• Communicate with architects, project managers, and the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience in construction site management
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
