Shredder Operator at Reliable Steel & Plastic Ind. Ltd.

Job Summary:

• The Shredder Operator is responsible for cutting materials such as  plastic damage into lumps for recycling. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate shredding machines and related equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., clearing jams, lubricating parts).
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Record production data 
• Assist with clean-up and organization of the work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Adhere to environmental and company policies related to waste disposal and material handling.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• SSCE/NCE/GCE
• Prior experience operating heavy machinery or working in a manufacturing/recycling environment is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to [50 lbs./23 kg] and stand for long periods.
• Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in an industrial setting with exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• PPE is required (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed boots).
• May involve overtime, weekend, or evening shifts.
