Short-Term Consultancy Opportunity for Journalist Trainer at Green Concern for Development

As part of our ongoing project to promote peace among stakeholders in 3 LGAs of Borno state, we are currently looking for Experience Media Consultants to undertake the following tasks

A). A Consultant to Facilitate a 3 days training for radio Journalist in Maiduguri, Borno state.

Description of Task:

The media (both traditional & contemporary) play every important role in either destabilising or promoting peace. However, GREENCODE understanding the role the media/journalists play in promoting peace, it is pertinent that we support in strengthening their capacity on Conflict Sensitivity Approach to Reporting Conflict and Violence Extremism.

In view of above, GREENCODE is requesting for interested and experienced consultant to undertake the following tasks;

• Take lead in facilitating a 3day intensive training for radio journalists and very few social media blogger or social media journalists in Borno state on Conflict Sensitivity Approach to Reporting Conflict and Violence Extremism.
• Design training guide or model with come case studies.
• Produce a brief report of the training.
