Shop Manager at CSi Grocery

Role Summary:

• We're seeking a responsible and organized Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of our Ibadan branch. You will be in charge of supervising staff, managing stock, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with other departments to keep the store running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure timely opening and closing
• Supervise store staff (sales reps, cleaners, etc.)
• Receive online orders from WhatsApp group and ensure correct sorting, packing, and readiness for dispatch
• Notify customer service/logistics via WhatsApp once orders are ready
• Track low stock, out-of-stock items, and customer requests — send clear photos and reports via WhatsApp
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves
• Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock accordingly
• Handle minor customer complaints in-store and escalate major issues
• Maintain accurate sales records and work closely with HQ on inventory updates
• Ensure daily checklist tasks (cleaning, POS checks, etc.) are completed

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of BSc
• At least 2 year of retail or store management experience
• Must live within or close to Ring Road, Ibadan
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication (English and Yoruba is a plus)
• Basic computer literacy (for POS, WhatsApp, photos, and reporting)
