Shop Manager at CSi Grocery

About the Job

• CSI Grocery is expanding to Ibadan! We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Shop Manager to oversee operations at our new outlet located at Jofat Plaza, Mobil Junction, Ring Road, Ibadan.
• The Shop Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations, managing staff, maintaining accurate stock records, and driving sales. 
• This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who is proactive, accountable, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all store activities, including opening and closing routines
• Lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Manage inventory: stock levels, restocking, and supplier coordination
• Track daily sales, prepare sales reports, and handle petty cash
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and product display
• Address customer complaints and resolve issues quickly
• Monitor staff performance and enforce company policies
• Liaise with headquarters for stock movement and reporting

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc. in any discipline
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar retail or supermarket role
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Good understanding of inventory control and sales tracking
• Proficient in basic record-keeping and use of POS systems
• Must be trustworthy, responsible, and customer-friendly
• Must reside in Ibadan or be willing to relocate
