Shift Supervisor at Rotic Aluminium Extrusion

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing production activities during their assigned shift.
• Ensuring that production targets and quality standards are met.
• Share daily report with management on activities during his shift
• Analyse report on production metrics and performance to higher management.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement activities to improve production efficiency
• Managing and coordinating the work of production workers.
• Monitoring equipment operation and addressing any issues that arise.
• Reporting on production metrics and performance to higher management.
• Training and mentoring new production staff.
• Communicating with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
• To manage the Manpower deployment in his shift, according to the availability/strength of employees.
• Should have knowledge in machine Management.
• Schedule machine maintenance to avoid the break down.
• Maintaining the documentations like production log book/maintenance log book/ Quality related issues.

Requirements

• At least 3 years manufacturing experience with technical background.
• An attention to detail and accuracy.
• Critical and technical thinking.
• Computer literate.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to make timely, detailed reports.
• Planning and time management ability.
• Effective communication skills.
