Shift Manager at Total Data Limited

JOB OBJECTIVE(S)

• Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production and loading of goods such as Loaders, Pallet setters and conveyor workers.
• Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations, or promotions.
• Maintain operations data, such as time records, production, expense and prepare production reports for the management.
• Ensure the production and logistics process remains smooth and efficient by monitoring operation workers and organizing work flow.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruitment of factory operatives.
• Orientation and training of new operatives.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals i.e meeting up daily targets in both conveyor and loading sections.
• Set standards and specified targets for new operatives
• Enforcement of Client/TDL rules and regulations
• Direct and coordinate the activities of operatives.
• Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
• Hourly report recording of work done.
• Taking daily records of total numbers of trucks/trailer loaded.
• Maintain the security of all information entrusted to you and all members of staff
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to decrease potential injuries for employee on the job. [Adherence to the usage of P.P.E(s)]
• Proper documentation of operational activities i.e. (ensuring reconciliation of activities between Client and TDL).
• Other official tasks assigned

Note: In the event of supervisory negligence/poor monitoring that affects the company (TDL), you shall bear the cost.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education  

• Minimum Education:   First Degree/National Diploma is mandatory 

Experience  

• Minimum experience – 2 - 3 years’ experience
