Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot/Installation:

• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and simple electrical/Automation problems on plant facilities, production equipment, UPS, Chillers, Generators, Totalizing Synchronization, Control panels and power panels, Universal machines.
• Maintaining plant equipment diagrams and technical documentation such as schematics, manuals standards and codes and maintenance activities as per standard.
• Install, configure and calibrate/maintain records for measurements and indicating instrumentation (Pneumatic, analog, and digital) like PLC and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) (Schneider, Omron, Siemens) transmitters, controllers etc.
• To be involved in preventive maintenance and to plan resources/requirement from day to day.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on the equipment based on the schedule and ensure the activities and reported and documented.
• Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to Maintenance Manager through his/her supervisor.

Requirements

• ND/HND , B.Tech, B.Eng Mech/Elect.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in an Industrial Maintenance environment.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with focus on attention to detail.
•  Functional knowledge of mechanical components (valves, pipe fittings, bearings, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
•  Ability to read and/or interpret mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints or schematics. 
• Strong mechanical repair/troubleshooting and metal working skills.
• Must be able to satisfactorily demonstrate proficiency in Machine Repair, Machine Tool Operations, Pipefitting.
• Be able to work both in independently and in a team, environment completing objectives efficiently with a sense of responsibility.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, job related internet research and ability to learn e-Maintenance software for daily usage.
• Previous experience in the FMCG industry is a plus.
