Shift Generator Operator at CWAY Foods and Beverages Nigeria

Responsibilities

• He shall be responsible for the safe, efficient and continuous operation of all generators during the shift period.
• He should perform daily inspection, routine checks(oil, fuel, coolant, battery) and minor repairs on the generators during shift periods.
• He should maintain accurate timely records of running hours, maintenance activities and fuel consumption of all generators
• He should start,stop and operate generators and auxiliary equipment according to operating procedures.
• He should monitor control panels, gauges and load distribution of generators during shift operation periods.
• Shift Generator Operator should monitor and track fuel levels, manage storage tanks and oversee fuel deliveries during shift period.
• He should adhere strictly to safety protocols including environmental rules and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards in order to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• He should identify and resolve operational issues, escalating major faults to supervisors or Maintenance team.
• He should ensure proper, documented and smooth hand-over of responsibilities to the next shift.
• The Shift Generator Operator shall carry out any other task as may be assigned by his Line Manager.
