This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shelter Operations Manager located in Ikotun, Lagos. The Shelter Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shelter, managing hopemates, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents and staff. Tasks include case management and reporting, overseeing hopemates' transition, coordinating formal/informal trainings and community services, building and solidifying partnerships, and conducting research to improve Communal Shelter Programs. The Shelter Operations Manager will also handle communication with external partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong Communication, Training and Mentoring skills
Experience in Case Management and Social Services
Ability to conduct and utilize Research tools effectively
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field
Previous experience in shelter/hostel management or a related field is an advantage.
