    Service Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team and support operations related to rotary screw compressors and compressed air systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in system optimization, maintenance, diagnostics, and supporting aftermarket service growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot critical issues raised by clients and ensure resolution within the Standard Response Time (SRT).
    • Perform SPM (Shock Pulse Measurement) condition monitoring on rotary screw compressors.
    • Conduct air audits to optimize compressed air system efficiency and reduce operating costs.
    • Provide technical support to the Sales team in recommending appropriate solutions for compressed air requirements (Screw – Fixed Speed, VSD & Reciprocating compressors), focusing on energy efficiency benefits.
    • Conduct survey studies using Kaeser diagnostic tools (ADA Trend readers, KESS, pressure loggers), analyze demand patterns, and recommend system design improvements.
    • Carry out FAD (Free Air Delivery) testing and certify compressor performance as per OEM standards.
    • Detect air leaks and quantify compressed air wastage.
    • Analyze and document how the compressed air system operates, and recommend actionable solutions to improve performance.
    • Manage the compressor service team and implement predictive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
    • Drive aftermarket revenue generation and ensure achievement of set targets.
    • Compile and review monthly service reports and operational data.
    • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing company safety protocols during troubleshooting and overhauling at client sites.
    • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • 5–6 years in compressor service, ideally with Kaeser equipment
    • Skilled in diagnostics, condition monitoring, and reporting
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Proficient in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
