Service Engineer at Bosch Group

Job Summary

• The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Bosch industrial boiler systems for key account customers.
• The role supports service growth, ensures high customer satisfaction, and protects Bosch's installed base across West Africa

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and repair of industrial boilers and related systems
• Diagnose technical issues and ensure fast, reliable service interventions
• Support key account customers and ensure contractual service commitments are met
• Execute service activities in compliance with Bosch quality, safety, and HSE standards
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and customer feedback
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, partners) and external suppliers when required
• Support emergency interventions and onsite customer assistance across Africa

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or engineering Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems
• 3-5years experience in industrial boilers, burners, or thermal systems (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills
• Willingness to travel frequently within Africa
• Good communication skills and customeroriented mindset
• Ability to work independently under field conditions
• Knowledge of safety regulations and service procedures
