We are seeking a talented and experienced Server Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building and maintaining high-performance servers in a dynamic environment.
As a Server Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex server systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable server systems
Monitor server performance and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Manage backup and recovery of server data
Develop and maintain documentation for server systems and processes
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of server systems with other systems and applications
Overseeing server installations, maintenance, and upgrades
Managing backups and disaster recovery plans
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in server engineering
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix-based server systems
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
