Senior Wealth Manager at Whip Smart Service Providers Limited

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Wealth Manager to join our team in Port Harcourt. The primary objective of this role is to meet the company’s financial targets while managing relationships with clients to ensure optimal client acquisition, retention, and income generation through the sale of investment products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned individual Assets Under Management (AUM) targets.
• Advise clients on financial products and services to meet their investment objectives.
• Regularly review clients' financial portfolios in response to life events, economic changes, or performance reviews.
• Manage client investments and assets effectively.
• Implement and assist with execution of tailored financial plans and strategies.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to assess any changes in financial status or needs.
• Investigate investment opportunities for alignment with clients’ financial goals.
• Monitor market trends and ensure that clients’ portfolios are responsive and up to date.
• Devise effective debt repayment strategies with clear timelines and priorities.
• Conduct financial analysis with clients to understand goals, risk appetite, and current asset allocations.
• Provide investment advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, focusing on optimal asset allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Offer market insights and support decision-making processes through regular capital market analysis.
• Leverage technology to improve investment management and drive operational efficiency.
• Represent the company professionally to uphold and enhance the corporate image.
• Apply strategic negotiation to optimize funding costs and portfolio returns.
• Develop and share a weekly strategic prospecting plan with the Head of Wealth Management.
• Provide regular client feedback reports to the Head of Wealth Management.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Professional certification or membership (e.g., CIS, CFA, ACCA) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the asset management industry, currently in a senior role.
• Proven business acumen with the ability to identify and seize commercial opportunities.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to foster business growth.
• High adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, networking, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
