    Senior UX Designer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences for our digital products and services, from concept to implementation. 
    • Conduct usability testing to inform design decisions. 
    • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and prioritize design features. 
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions. 
    • Maintain and develop design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency across our design library, products and platforms. 
    • Mentor and coach junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to improve their skills and knowledge. 
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and share knowledge and insights with the team. 
    • Apply and promote SeamlessHR culture and core values at all times. 
    • Undertake ad hoc duties as agreed.

    JOB EXPERIENCE

    • Behavioural Requirements:
    • Collaboration: As a Senior UX Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product managers, developers, and other stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills are essential to ensure that design decisions are informed by user requirements, technical constraints, and business goals. You should be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others to create the best possible user experience. 
    • Leadership: As a senior member of the design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of user interfaces for our digital products. You should have the ability to inspire and guide other designers, as well as provide constructive feedback to improve their work. You should be comfortable with taking ownership of design projects and making design decisions. 
    • User-Centered Design: The Senior UX Designer should have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methods, and should be able to use research and data to inform design decisions. You should be able to design interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to a wide range of users. 
    • Attention to Detail: As a Senior UX Designer, you should have a keen eye for detail and be able to create designs that are visually appealing and consistent across different platforms and devices. You should be meticulous in your work and ensure that designs meet high quality standards. 
    • Adaptability: The Senior UX Designer should be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements. You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 
    • Continuous Learning: The Senior UX Designer should be passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques. You should be proactive in seeking out opportunities for learning and professional development, and be willing to share your knowledge and insights with the team. 

    Technical Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design or a related field or experience to match. 
    • 4+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design work. 
    • Experience leading design projects from concept to implementation, working with cross-functional teams. 
    • Expert knowledge of design tools and software, such as, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite. 
    • Strong understanding of user research and usability testing methods and best practices 
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design solutions to stakeholders. 
    • Experience working with and adding to Design Systems. 
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
    • Experience mentoring and coaching junior designers.
