Senior Tailor at Elvaridah

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tailor to join our fashion house in Lekki. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for fashion, and the ability to lead a team of junior tailors. As a Senior Tailor, you will create high-quality garments, ensure perfect fit and craftsmanship, and guide the tailoring team.

Responsibilities:

• Garment Creation: Lead the creation of garments from start to finish, including taking measurements, cutting fabric, sewing, and fitting garments.
• Pattern Making: Develop and modify patterns based on design sketches or client measurements to ensure proper fit and style.
• Quality Control: Ensure all garments meet high-quality standards in terms of stitching, fit, and overall craftsmanship.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide junior tailors and seamstresses, ensuring they understand design specifications and adhere to quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production team members to bring design concepts to life and ensure the final product meets the intended vision.
• Maintenance of Equipment: Ensure sewing machines, tools, and workspaces are properly maintained and organized for maximum efficiency and safety.
• Adherence to Deadlines: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for completing garments, especially for custom orders or fashion shows.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in garment creation and tailoring.
