Senior Surveyor at BATOIL Services

Job Brief

• As the Survey Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Survey projects, activities and the Technical/commercial aspects of the Tender/bidding process, whilemaintaining progressive business relationships with our clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics, Engineering, or related fields. A Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hydrographic Survey, Tender/bid management and project management roles within the oil & gas industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil & gas survey methodologies, equipment, industry standards and regulations.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Presentations and Negotiations: Ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and contract negotiations to clients as needed.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate, train and develop a high-performing Technical team.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Surveying and project management tools.

Working Conditions

• Environment: Office-based with some fieldwork, and sitevisits. Ability to work in a fast-paced organization and meet tight deadlines.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to client sitesand project locations as required.
