Senior Solar Solutions Engineer - Power China at Proten International

• Lead the design and engineering of off-grid, on-grid, and hybrid solar systems, including battery storage solutions.
• Conduct detailed site assessments, energy audits, and feasibility studies.
• Develop comprehensive proposals including technical specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and cost estimates.
• Supervise installation teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with design standards.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop client-specific energy solutions.
• Provide technical support for pre-sales and after-sales client engagements.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical and building codes, as well as industry best practices.
• Review and validate system performance data and recommend performance optimization strategies.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar PV design, installation, and system integration.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of inverters, batteries (Li-ion, LFP), charge controllers, and solar panels.
• Certification in solar design and installation (e.g., SEI, NABCEP, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
