Senior Server / Network Administrator at Assets Microfinance Bank

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and network traffic, ensuring the stability, security, and integrity of data.
• Perform routine system and security audits, backups, and recoveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server and network-related issues.
• Implement security measures and protocols to protect the bank’s network and data from unauthorized access.
• Manage firewall, VPN, and other security systems to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Maintain and update documentation related to server and network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades, network expansions, and disaster recovery planning.
• Administer network user permissions, file systems, and directories.
• Ensure system scalability to accommodate future business growth.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in server and network administration in a financial or enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPN, and security measures.
• Proficiency with server operating systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
