Senior QA Engineer at Symphony Solutions

Experience & Skill Requirements:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing
• Good to have Automation Testing experience
• Experience in Mobile, Web Applications, API, and DB Testing
• Strong Experience in Testing Concepts/Techniques/Methodologies and Functional testing
• Hands-on experience in test design, test data preparation, and execution  
• Experience in RCA, IA, Test Results analysis, and Defect Tracking
• Experience working in DevOps environment, Agile and Scrum Teams
• Commitment towards quality and continuous improvement
• Good Oral and written communication skills

Mandatory skills:

• Hands-on experience in developing SQL scripts for database testing
• Good understanding of different Test Automation Frameworks
• Ability to develop test scenarios using the BDD approach
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub and CI/CD implementation

Good to have:

• Hands-on experience in using licensed/open-source Test Automation Tools like Appium, Selenium, or Katalon Studio
• Coding skills using any of the following: Ruby, Python, Java, or Groovy
• Qualification: BS/MS in computer science or related subjects
• Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:
• Work as part of the QA team(Manual and Automation Test Engineering) to design, implement and maintain test solutions for iOS/Android/Web applications and backend
• You will be able to help the team to find the right balance between test automation and manual testing
• You will have a prominent role in the process of developing the way the team works with testing and quality assurance
• You will coordinate with various offshore and onsite teams for requirements gathering and testing activities
• Use test skills and technical know-how in close collaboration with developers
• Align with organization’s work culture by actively contributing to the team development
