Job Description

• The company is in Nigeria and operates in different markets worldwide. To help support our global transformation, we are searching for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
• In this role, you will be remotely Working within a Team of software developers designing, and developing API’s using Python Flask.
• You will be charged with the responsibility of designing, developing, and testing of code and mentoring Junior team members whilst working in an autonomous environment, following a designated plan, and achieving goals according to schedule.
• You will need to work with the relevant teams to map out strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the organization’s overall project portfolio.

Technical Skills Required

• Highly proficient in Python Flask
• At least 3 years relevant work experience as a Python Software engineer
• Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Machine Learning
• Knowledge of Data Analysis
• Knowledge and experience with AI
• Experience with chatbot implementation
• Experience with continuous delivery and DevOps tools and practicesUnderstanding and awareness of IT industry standards
• You have extensive experience in developing complex software systems on Python/Flask
• Recent practical software development experience, including design, program build, testing/debugging and implementation of multi-user business applications using a relational database system
• Ability to work from design specifications and follow programming standards
• Expertise with an application lifecycle management tool such as Jira and version control such as GitHub.
