The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our organization's programs and initiatives.
This role involves project management, stakeholder communication, data tracking, and ensuring program objectives are met within the specified timelines.
The Senior Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and contribute to the successful implementation and growth of our programs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams to develop program objectives, goals, and strategies.
Monitor program progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Develop systems to collect and track program-related data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Analyze program data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports and presentations to update stakeholders on program status and outcomes.
Serve as the main point of contact for program-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Manage program budgets, expenses, and allocations in collaboration with the finance team.
Conduct post-program evaluations to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and gather feedback.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance program impact, efficiency, and participant satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences Project Management and any other relevant field
5-7 years experience in managing and implementing programs
Experience working on donor-funded projects (any of USAID, USADF, FCDO etc)
Experience conceptualizing, designing, and implementing a project from start to finish
Experience in any of these fields - Entrepreneurship, Education, Employability, Digital Skills or Gender
Experience writing project reports
Experienced in making presentations
Experience in engaging stakeholders at a high level
Effective team management skills, with the ability to lead a team of at least 3 people
Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
