Senior Operations Manager at M-P Infrastructure Limited

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Operations Manager – Passive Infrastructure to lead and manage the passive infrastructure network across multiple telecom regions. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and budgetary controls. The ideal candidate will bring extensive telecom experience, client relationship management skills, and strong financial acumen to oversee P&L accountability and performance delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations and maintenance (O&M) of all passive telecom infrastructure including towers, power systems (DG sets, battery banks, solar solutions), shelters, and cooling systems.
• Ensure uptime and service availability in line with client-defined SLA and KPI targets; implement performance monitoring tools and corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships, serving as the key point of contact for operations-related matters, reviews, escalations, and business updates.
• Manage and track P&L performance, ensuring operational activities align with approved budgets and financial targets; proactively identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• -Control and optimize diesel consumption and fuel reconciliation across all sites; ensure accurate data tracking, vendor accountability, and minimal wastage or pilferage.
• Lead a team of regional managers, engineers, and vendor partners to ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Oversee vendor performance management, contract compliance, and negotiation of SLAs.
• Provide support to project teams during tower upgrades, grid and solar deployments, and new site integration.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and energy optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all operational sites.
• Prepare and present regular operational and financial reports to senior leadership and clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in telecom infrastructure operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial role overseeing passive infrastructure.
• Proven track record in SLA/KPI delivery, client management, and P&L ownership.
• Deep expertise in diesel management, site energy efficiency, and cost control.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and managing third-party vendors across regions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
