Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) at Ubenwa

Job Description

• We are looking for a passionate, self-driven, and talented flutter engineer with a minimum of 7 years experience in mobile development including previous native iOS app development.
• You will lead mobile development and work with the core software and design team in bringing our mobile vision to life. In doing this, you will also be integrating on-device machine learning algorithms.

Main responsibilities

• Building mobile apps with Dart & Flutter with clean, elegant and test-driven code
• Reproducing pixel-perfect UI and animations from design mockups
• Serverless integrations with other APIs
• Writing good documentation
• Aligning with the goals of the business and communicating effectively
• Ability to work independently, deal with ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience developing science-driven mobile applications
• Experience deploying machine learning models on edge devices
• Experience with Native Android
• Knowledge of signal processing

Preferred Experience

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related technical discipline
• 7+ years of mobile software development
• Have previous experience in Native iOS development
• Good hands-on exposure to Flutter Framework and development to create apps
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks
• Git version control
• Published one or more Android/iOS/RN/Flutter apps on the app stores.
• Experience using web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP) with JSON payloads
